Secret garden is a herbarium mirror that creates the frame for a different meeting with the self.

Escaping a direct reflection, it prolongs the mirroring moment through a private display of one’s own preserved plants, magnified in the reflecting covers. Reversing a common hierarchy, it extends the presence of nature, revealing an usually hidden herbarium collection and it places oneself through his own tended garden.

The object is composed by two glass layers that hold the plants and two metal sheets layers that reflect the composed image.

The object was produced with the support of  Saint-Gobain Glass Romania, Vertigo Metal Design and Vasile Stoica from Nod makerspace.
